Daisy is Dr. Tabak’s miniature wirehaired dachshund. Daisy is well known in Barrington! She is registered and certified by the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and has been a hard working therapy dog for almost 12 years. Daisy visits patients at Northwest Community Hospital and through the years, has spent time with more than 2,400 patients not to mention countless members of the hospital’s staff and guests. Daisy also regularly visits the Barrington Area Council on Aging, wellness fairs, community events, and other as-requested activities. Anyone spotting Daisy’s photo in Dr. Tabak’s exam room is welcome to ask for a copy of her hospital card.
