Welcome 2020
Make a resolution to see 20/20 in 2020!
20/20 vision is a term used to express normal visual acuity; the clarity or sharpness of vision. 20/20 vision is often considered “perfect.” If you have 20/20 vision, you can see clearly at 20 feet what should normally be seen at that distance. Visual acuity is always written as a fraction.
Some people’s visual acuity is 20/40, 20/80 and so on meaning their uncorrected distance vision is not clear. Some people actually see better than 20/20. For example, someone with 20/15 vision is seeing clearly at 20 feet something that people with 20/20 visual acuity can see at 15 feet.
Visual acuity is a static measurement and does not take into account various visual skills or the health of the eye which can affect visual acuity.
Our New Year’s resolution is to encourage as many people as possible see 20/20 in 2020.
